I am a proud alumna of Prairie View A & M University, where I earned both a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with honors. I have over nine years of experience providing therapeutic care to individuals seeking help for depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, stress management, coping skills, relationship issues/communication, self-esteem, grief, and other life challenges.
Being a Military Veteran and serving eight years in service with wartime deployment, I understand the stigmas surrounding mental health and the barriers for Veterans seeking help. I aim to break those barriers and provide a safe, caring environment for my clients.
My passion is working with individual adults, Veterans, and First Responders struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and other life transitions.
My passion for the helping field began in middle school as I witnessed a close relative struggle with mental health concerns and sought help when it was needed. I genuinely want my clients to feel empowered to better themselves and overcome their struggles.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with family, attending church services, helping others, watching movies, being outdoors in nature, hiking, biking, camping, skating, and traveling when possible.
