Insurance Coverage

I am currently an in-network provider with the following insurance companies:

  • Cigna

  • Aetna

  • BlueCross BlueShield

  • United Healthcare

Out-of-Network

If you are not covered by one of the mentioned insurance providers, I can provide you with a receipt, known as a superbill. You can then submit this receipt to your insurance company to explore possible reimbursement options.

The extent of coverage for psychotherapy services can vary based on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan. To gain clarity on how your plan compensates you for these services, I recommend reaching out to your provider and posing these questions:

  1. Does my health insurance plan include coverage for mental health services?

  2. Do I have a deductible, and if so, what is the amount, and have I met it?

  3. Does my plan impose limitations on the number of therapy sessions I can have per calendar year? If so, what is the maximum limit?

  4. Is written approval from my primary care physician required for coverage of these services?

Accepted Payment Methods

I accept payments made via debit cards, credit cards, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards, and Healthcare Savings Account (HSA) cards. Payment will be processed at the time of the service.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" that outlines the anticipated cost of your medical care. This estimate includes not only the services themselves but also related expenses such as medical tests, prescription medications, equipment, and hospital charges.

Per legal requirements, healthcare providers must furnish patients without insurance or those not using insurance with a written Good Faith Estimate of the expected bill for medical services and items. This estimate should be provided at least one business day before the scheduled medical service or item.

If you receive a bill that exceeds the Good Faith Estimate by at least $400, you have the right to dispute the bill. It's advisable to keep a copy or take a picture of your Good Faith Estimate for reference.

For further inquiries or additional information about your entitlement to a Good Faith Estimate, please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
